A moderator in NVIDIA forums reports that the overall availability of the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti has been delayed by a week. As a result, if you want to purchase the card, it will not be available at its official launch on September 20th, rather on September 27th.
All are excited about the new GeForce RTX graphics cards in their two variants, both the RTX 2080 and the RTX 2080 Ti, but with the latter it seems that buyers will have to wait a little longer than expected, as the green company has announced.
These were the wordings of spokesman about RTX 2080 Ti:
“Hello everyone, I wanted to inform you about the availability of the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. Availability has changed over the period to September 27 with a one-week delay. We expect the pre-orders to arrive between September 20th and 27th. There is no change to the general availability of GeForce RTX 2080 on September 20. We can’t wait for you to enjoy the new GeForce RTX family! “Thank you for your patience.”
We assume that this delay only applies to the ‘Founder Edition’ cards and would not affect the various Nvidia partner manufacturers. We will be looking for any information that may emerge regarding the release of the GeForce RTX ‘Turing’ generation.
