It looks like the frustrations caused by the trimmed down Resident Evil 3 remake are left behind. According to Dusk Golem, the next Resident Evil: Village will be the longest so far.
This is not the first time Dusk Golem has revealed this kind of information to us. A few months ago, he told us details about the Resident Evil Village, such as its dark theme and disturbing enemies. Now he also tells us that Resident Evil 4 remake will be longer than Remake 3, which makes a lot of sense considering that the original RE4 was longer than the original RE3.
As for Resident Evil 8, it will be cross-generational, meaning it will reach the platforms of both the current and next generation. It will have a first-person perspective, and most of the things that have been leaked will be present.
“Resident Evil 8 will be the longest RE engine game to date, and without saying much, the things to come should follow a similar trend,” says Dusk.
Finally, other rumors suggested that Capcom would show a new preview of Resident Evil Village in August 2020, so the only digital event where this could be shown would be Gamescom 2020.
If this rumor is true, how long do you think Resident Evil Village would last?
