Resident Evil Resistance beta now available on Steam, also uses Denuvo

After a small delay, the open beta version of Resident Evil Resistance is finally available on Steam. It weighs 9 GB and can be downloaded and played immediately by PC players. It also uses Denuvo’s anti-sabotage technology.

In this open beta, you can try out Resident Evil’s new 1-on-4 online multiplayer mode, where four survivors meet a sinister mastermind.

By playing as the mastermind, players want to prevent the survivors from escaping in any way. Instead, the survivors must work as a team to defend themselves against the mastermind’s attacks and solve puzzles to escape the map before time runs out.

It is important to note that no data is stored in the open beta. Even if you close the application, all your progress will be restarted. The developer also pointed out that the game contains foul language and explicit violence.

With the release of this beta, their PC requirements also became known. Here they are:
