Razer launches the Razer Tomahawk Gaming Desktop Mini-PC, a small computer designed for gamers who need to optimize their space as much as possible without sacrificing performance or aesthetics.
Razer Tomahawk – Specifications
The Tomahawk Gaming Desktop is an 11.5-liter Mini PC that has the performance of an Intel Core i9-9980HK and the graphics power of an Nvidia RTX 3080 inside.
The case has really compact dimensions: 210 mm x 150 mm x 365 mm, for a capacity of 11.5 liters. Nvidia’s already mentioned Intel Core i9-9980HK and RTX 3080 are inside together with 16 GB DDR4 memory, a 512 GB SSD and another 2 TB HDD. The Razer Tomahawk works with the Intel NUC 9 Extreme Compute Element card, which contains processor, memory, and SSD memory in a single module designed for use in Razer Tomahawk computers. The power supply delivers about 750W of power, which should be enough to bring this configuration to life without any problems.
At the connectivity level, two Thunderbolt 3 ports and a pair of Ethernet ports are included. We have four USB 3.2 Type-A ports, an HDMI 2.0A output, and a headphone jack. Of course, we then have the video outputs that correspond to the graphics card, but that depends on the model you choose, as we can buy the Razer Tomahawk with or without a graphics card installed.
There are two versions of the Razer Tomahawk gaming desktop, one that comes with the GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition graphics card and another that comes without the graphics card, so we have an empty PCIe x16 slot to install any other graphics card there.
Thus the model without a graphics card costs us $2,399.99 and with installed RTX 3080 $3,199.99.
It is available for pre-sale this month, exclusively on the Razer website.
