Razer launches a Kickstarter to build a Naga Trinity left-handed mouse

Most modern PCs do not seem to be made for left-handers. Yes, some systems come with ambidextrous mice, but we should all know that left-handed people don’t offer the same level of ergonomics and support as right-handed people. Razer opens a Kickstarter for his Naga Trinity mouse, the goal is to develop a mouse for left-handed users.

Razer Naga Trinity for lefties needs $990,000 on Kickstarter

In 2010, Razer developed the first left-handed mouse, DeathAdder Left-Handed Edition, which meets the needs of 10% of PC players who would otherwise be forced to use their non-dominant hand.

Although the idea of a left-handed mouse was popular, sales were not so encouraging. Over the past six years, Razer has sold thousands of left-handed mice, a number the company says is similar to the number of right-handed mice it sells every day. Selling left-handed versions of his modernized mouse line has become increasingly complex and expensive over time, all for a small market appreciative user.

Sales for this type of device are so low that they had to develop a Kickstarter for their next left-handed mouse. Razer knocked on Kickstarter’s door hoping to raise $990,000 to build a Trinity Left-Handed Edition NAGA Razer that would allow them to design and manufacture the mouse from the early stages of research into manufacturing, packaging, and shipping.

The NAGA Trinity is a complex mouse designed primarily for MOBA and MMO games, with three optional pages that can be optimally adapted to the needs of specific games. Like the standard Razer Naga Trinity, the left-handed version will include the classic Razer Mechanical Switches, Razer’s advanced 16,000 DPI Advanced 5G optical sensor and Razer Chroma support.

Will they make it to the $990,000 mark? There are 27 days left and they’ve raised over $23,000 to date.
