Razer Huntsman with optical switches and the best

Both Razer Huntsman keyboards have a metal top and are equipped with Razer optomechanical switches. Unlike the traditional mechanical keys, which include a large number of moving parts and implement a metal contact, Razer’s optomechanical key allows light beam actuation. Its 1.5 mm actuation point allows the Razer optomechanical switch to operate 30% faster than traditional mechanical switches.

This mechanism provides a tactile feel similar to that of the Razer Green switch, with an activation force of 45 grams and a service life of up to 100 million pressures. The advantage of this type of mechanism is that it does not have a metal contact that could break down and fail. All keys are equipped with a 10-key anti-ghosting system.

The Razer Huntsman Elite includes three buttons accompanied by a digital multifunction wheel, all programmable by Razer Synapse 3, allowing combinations and Chroma lighting effects customizable by users. The Huntsman Elite also offers the same wrist-rest as the Razer Ornata Chroma and the BlackWidow Chroma V2, with magnetic coupling and synthetic leather finish.
