Razer is working on a Blade 18 gaming laptop with an 18-inch display, no less. The peculiarity of this laptop is that it is powered by the 13th generation Intel Core processors, a series that has not yet been released for the notebook segment.
This product is called Razer Blade 18 (RZ09-0484) and will be the successor of the Blade 17 model, which is currently Razer’s most powerful notebook.
The laptop was spotted on Geekbench and is equipped with the 24-core, 32-thread Core i9-13900HX CPU, which is the same configuration as the desktop Core i9-13900K. The clock frequency is 5.4 GHz.
According to the Geekbench tests, the Core i9-13900HX achieves 2063 points in the single-core test and 20164 points in the multi-core test. Compared to the current Core i9-12950HX, the performance increase is 14% in single-core and up to 45% in multi-core.
The Core i9-13900HX is the most powerful processor in the Raptor Lake series for the notebook segment, and only high-end notebooks will be equipped with this CPU.
Intel intends to launch notebooks with Raptor Lake CPUs by the end of this year 2022. So expect a big performance increase with the 13th generation.
