AMD has today released new drivers, the Radeon Adrenalin 19.8.2, which offer just in time support and performance enhancements.
10 Percent more performance with Radeon Adrenalin 19.8.2 and DX 11
Remedy’s latest action game, Control, will be released on August 27, and AMD says its new controller delivers 10% more performance than version 19.8.1 when played with DirectX 11.
The controller also adds the new game Supermassive Games, which developed the horror drama The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan. AMD didn’t go into detail about the improvements this game will have with the new drivers, so we don’t think there will be any performance improvements. The release of the game is scheduled for August 30th.
AMD has also added PlayReady 3.0 DRM support for its new RX 5700 graphics card series in its previous driver version. Also, the current driver comes with HDCP 2.3 support for the new graphics card line.
AMD describes the problems solved in this version of their Radeon adrenaline controller.
- The Rocket League can be suspended if you change tasks.
- League of Legends may perform slower than expected when performing a task change.
- System instability can be observed with Radeon RX 5700 Series graphics products when memory overclocking is performed while a 3D application is running.
- A slight stutter can be experienced in the first few minutes in Fornite. You can download the drivers via the following link.
