AMD releases Radeon Adrenalin 18.8.1 beta driver

AMD today released the adrenalin 18.8.1 beta version of its drivers for Radeon graphics cards. The new drivers should keep our AMD graphics cards well covered and prepare them for upcoming games like Monster Hunter World or the Battle for Azeroth expansion of World of Warcraft.

The new version of the software provides driver-level support and improvements for the next (and long-awaited) Monster Hunter World. For this particular game, this version of the adrenaline driver promises 5% to 6% more performance with the AMD RX Vega graphics card and the RX 580 models compared to the AMD 18.6.1 driver version with 1080p.

This driver also includes support for World of Warcraft Battle for Azeroth, We Happy Few, and Madden NFL 19, as well as advanced features for the Vulcan API, which supports more commands than previous versions of drivers.

Adrenalin 18.8.1 beta also fixes a number of bugs or bugs, such as Fortnite and Windows 7 crashes, crashes on systems configured with Crossfire, or crashes in the configuration panel that causes GPU and memory clocks to fail and crash when a video is played. Civilization VI also fixes a problem with these drivers that could “crash” when running in DirectX 12 mode.

As always, you can download these drivers from the official AMD support page.
