The new QNAP TVS-951X 10GbE NAS mounts an Intel Celeron 3865U Kaby Lake processor consisting of two cores that run at a clock speed of 1.8 GHz, and have a very low power consumption. This new machine features five 3.5-inch disk bays and four slots for 2.5-inch SSDs.
The combination of SSD and HDD storage enables users to maximize capacity and performance with SSD caching and Qtier tiered automated storage. This is combined with 10GbE connectivity, multimedia streaming and transcoding capabilities and an HDMI video output capable of delivering 4K resolution.
QNAP TVS-951X 10GbE NAS features advanced Intel HD Graphics 610 technology, supporting 2-channel 4K H.264/H.265 hardware decoding and real-time transcoding. This allows users to directly enjoy videos up to 4K and 30FPS, as well as stream their multimedia files to multiple devices.
It also offers three USB 3.0 ports, a 3.5 mm audio output and a built-in speaker. There are two versions with 2 GB and 8 GB of RAM, in both cases expandable to 32 GB. It is now available at QNAP’s major trading partners.
