After many rumors, the arrival of Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! has been officially announced. and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! to the Nintendo Switch on November 16th, although the games aren’t what you were expecting.
Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! is a new adventure in the Kanto region, very much inspired by Yellow Pokémon, although it’s not a remake at all, which is something that has been talked about a lot in recent weeks. Included in this new adventure are the original 151 Pokémon and you can use a male and female avatar, something that has been commonplace for years.
The names of the games refer to the Pokémon that will accompany us throughout the adventure, as they will be Pikachu or Eevee depending on the version, a clear nod to Yellow Pokemon and the original series, where the main character Ash has Pikachu and his rival Gary has an Eevee.
From here comes the disappointment, these new games will be much more similar to Pokémon Go than deliveries for handheld consoles, as the capture system of wild Pokémon will be identical to that of the mobile application, no fighting. The Poke Ball will be launched with the help of the Joy-Con, imitating Pokémon Go once again. Interestingly, we can play in local co-op with a friend to help us capture the Pokémon, so far it has been confirmed that the game will not be online.
Finally, the game will be able to communicate with Pokemon Go to transfer creatures and gifts from one to the other and will come with a special accessory, the Poké Ball Plus, which is a specially designed controller with a price of approximately 40 euros.
