Today, NVIDIA released the Game Ready GeForce 399.24 (WHQL) driver. The primary goal of this Game Ready controller is to provide optimizations for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which is scheduled for release on September 14th, even though you can play it from September 12th if you have purchased the Croft Edition.
Nvidia GeForce 399.24 controllers welcome Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Black Ops 4
In addition to supporting Lara Croft’s new adventure, drivers will also support compatibility with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Assetto Corsa Competizione, which will be released on the Steam platform in Early Access on September 12.
As usual with all Game Ready controllers, the complete Change Log revealed a number of fixed issues while some still exist. We can find these details below.
From the issues resolved, we can say that a strange problem of a game crash that occurred in these processors of 32 cores was resolved, which wasn’t affecting the majority of players but that is now corrected.
Another issue has been fixed where drivers were not correctly installed on computers with Core 2 Duo/Quad processors.
These controllers will be ideal for players who are about to enjoy the Battle Royale mode of Blackout’s Beta, Black Ops 4’s Battle Royale, which was released just a few hours ago. The beta is only available to those who have pre-ordered the game.
