The Nvidia RTX 6000 graphics card has been launched for the workstation segment. This model offers 48 GB of video memory, sufficient for the most demanding tasks.
Nvidia RTX 6000: 48 GB for workstations from $7350
The flagship workstation graphics card from Nvidia is now available. The RTX 6000 card is going to offer workstation users a capacity of 48 GB of memory and 18,176 CUDA cores. The raw power of this card is about 91 TFLOPs, with TBP power consumption set at 300W.
The graphics card is close to the specifications of the 4090. It has just 2 disabled SMs at 142 offering up to 18,176 CUDA cores. That’s 11% more cores and SMs than the RTX 4090. What’s clear is that Nvidia would be reserving this space for an even more powerful GPU with those 2 additional SMs.
Moving on to the specs, the graphics card comes with a similar boost clock of 2.5 GHz and 48 GB of GDDR6X memory, which is running here at a speed of 20 Gbps. Nvidia uses slightly slower memory than the gaming models, which have a memory speed of 21 Gbps.
The RTX 6000 graphics card is currently listed by ShopBLT with a price tag of $7350. This model is from the PNY brand.
The price increase of Nvidia’s graphics cards not only affects the gaming models but also the workstation graphics cards, which are 50-60% more expensive than the previous A6000 graphics cards.
