After countless rumors, NVIDIA officially announced the arrival of a new GPU to the Ampere family, the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. This graphics card is the price/performance queen, offering higher performance than an RTX 2080 Super for the price of an RTX 2060 Super.
Compared to the RTX 3070 the new GPU has fewer CUDA cores, but more than twice as many as its predecessor RTX 2060 super. Concerning the memory, it remained with altogether 8 GB GDDR6, a 256-Bit interface, and 448 GBps bandwidth the same as its large brother.
Thus the RTX 3060 Ti is able to furnish superior achievements in the raster as well as with the Raytracing compared with the RTX 2080 super both with the rasterization and with the Raytracing.
