AIDA64 is updated with the presence of GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards and AMD 600 series motherboards, which is confirming the upcoming release of both products to the PC market in the coming months.
GeForce RTX 4090 is now on AIDA64
AIDA64 becomes probably the first application to support an RTX 40 GPU from Nvidia, which is foreshadowing that the release of this graphics card is very close.
The RTX 40 ‘Ada Lovelace’ series of graphics cards is still months away, but developers are already starting to include them in their tools, such as AIDA64, which often includes support for new or not-yet-released hardware. When AIDA includes support for hardware that hasn’t been released, such as the RTX 4090, it’s because the release is very close. This would also mean that the RTX 4090 is going to be the first graphics card in the RTX 40 series to be released to the desktop market.
AIDA 64 also currently supports the GTX 1630 and the Hopper H100 data center accelerator with 96GB of video memory. We also see support for AMD’s Radeon pro-W6600 (Navi 23) GPU, plus the MSI B650, X670, and X670E motherboards listed in the app’s new releases log.
The RTX 4090 graphics card with 16384 CUDA cores and 24GB of GDDR6X memory could launch first, while the RTX 4080 and 4070 could launch later to make for a staggered release
