According to a new Intel document, the new Intel architecture CPUs Cannon Lake for the mainstream segment (the successor to Coffee Lake before Ice Lake) could include AVX-512 instructions.
AVX-512 instructions
The AVX-512 instructions were in fact already expected with Skylake processors. Since they used to be introduced with actual architecture changes and not during node changes. Unfortunately, this was not so, and we had to wait until enthusiastic processors based on Skylake-X. So that these instructions will reach the consumer of dessert.

Also, now with this new information, the Cannon Lake mainstream processors (except mobile versions) will receive the further AVX-512 guidelines. That will provide increased performance in tasks such as rendering, encoding or encryption.
These improvements will be well appreciated by all those who rely on the mainstream platform as their working tool or those users who work with coding video regularly. Also, that is something ubiquitous in the times that run through platforms like Youtube.
Cannon Lake will be manufactured at 10nm and will be the ninth generation of Intel processors. In theory, the new Cannon Lake PCH chipset will lead to the new 300 series motherboards. That will come out mid-year, expected to include new features such as the integration of 802.11ac WIFI and other rumors such as the arrival of processors with up to 8 cores.
