Lenovo’s new Android phone, the Z5, was expected to have a display that would cover virtually the entire front end, with no bevels or notches, but this has not been the case, although, according to Lenovo, its display is 90% body to body ratio, its bevels are thinner relative to Xiaomi Mi 8 and iPhone X, and its notch is narrower.

In addition, the rear part is also made of glass and has a “chin” due to its light lower frame. Going into more detail, the new Lenovo Z5 is a phone with a 2.5D display with the Full HD+ resolution of 6.2″, 19:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass protection. The Snapdragon 636 processor, with 6 GB LPDDR4 of RAM memory, is integrated inside and is available in two storage variants, 64 GB and 128 GB. It also incorporates a 3,300mAh battery.

At the rear, there is a dual camera system with 16 MP main sensor and 8 MP secondary sensor accompanied by LED flash and Artificial Intelligence functions, as well as fingerprint sensor.

An 8 MP camera is located on the front. Aesthetically, the overall design is inspired by Apple’s iPhone X, although with subtle differences. Note that Android 8.1 will have the ZUI 3.9 customization layer and no Google applications, for focusing on the Chinese market.

It will be available in three different colours: blue, black and Aurora. Regarding prices, the 64 GB version of storage will be at about 1,299 yuan, and the 128 GB version of storage will be at about 1,799 yuan. It will go on sale in China on June 12, the same day Vivo will also announce another new phone model.
