New features for teamwork with G Suite

The Google team is adding new features to the G Suite’s Documents, Presentations and Spreadsheets activity panel.

From now on, they will be able to send emails to collaborators from the Activity Panel, as shown in the image:

Just choose the names of the recipients, and they will automatically be added to the message, with no extra action required. You can add as many users as you like, send the file, customize the message, and include a personal copy.

Another function that has been added is the possibility of consulting the visualization history of the Documents, Spreadsheets or Presentations that we have shared, through a graphic. As shown in the picture, the graph will show the number of people who have viewed the document in a period of time:

You can change the time frame you want to display, to evaluate the data from different perspectives. The chart options are interactive, so the user can scroll through the different points to get the information they want.

In order for this new feature to deliver the dynamic we’re talking about, you need to consider the details discussed in the Google Help Center and set up your viewing history.
