Naughty Dog closes The Last of Us server for PS3
Naughty Dog, the father of these three exclusive PlayStation products, has announced the closure of servers supporting these three titles. Everyone who called the online mode of these games received the additional content for the multiplayer.
The Uncharted trilogy for PlayStation 3 and The Last of Us are games included in the PlayStation Now catalog, Sony’s cloud gaming service. Starting this Wednesday, the online mode of these titles will also no longer be accessible via PS Now. So if you have a PS3 and want to play the last few games in these modes, you can only do it until next Wednesday. If you’re among those who enjoy the experience of these games on PS Now, you won’t be able to play their multiplayer modes either, as these servers were connected to Sony’s cloud gaming service.
The remastering servers released on PlayStation 4 will continue to operate.
