At the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, Sony, together with the new Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact smartphones, also presented the Xperia Ear Duo wireless earphones. These are smart products, designed to enhance the sound and bring a lot of innovation. These wireless earphones, in fact, feature the advanced ” Dual Listening” technology. That allows you to listen to music and receive notifications and at the same time perceive the sounds or conversations of the surrounding environment.

Therefore, whoever wears them will not miss a message or a call and above all will continue to hear the surrounding sounds correctly. To achieve this, Sony has worked hard on developing these earphones.
The spatial acoustic conductor, designed by the Sony Future Lab Program technology incubator, transmits the sound produced behind the headset by the device driver directly into the ear. The ring holder has been specially designed to surround the ear canal. So that music is seamlessly blended with ambient sounds.
The playback volume is self-adapting smartly based on ambient noise. Also, the Xperia Ear Duo earphones also feature Sony’s Clear Phase audio technology that prevents the dispersion of sound to deliver bright, clear sound.
The gesture system integrated into the earphones is very interesting. For example, with simple head movements, you can answer a call. Also, Xperia Ear Duo respond to voice commands. And allow easy access to the personal assistant you use, such as Google assistant. Thanks to the IPX2 certification (resistance to water splashes). Also, the Xperia Ear Duo earphones can always be used on the go. And the autonomy playback exceeds 4 hours. Xperia Ear Duo will be available from spring 2018 at a price not yet announced.
