With a 14-phase digital power supply cooled by a heatpipe, the new MEG X299 CREATION motherboard welcomes Intel’s new multicore processors to create ideal working conditions under high load. Three 8-pin connectors provide enough power to unleash processor power, ensuring the best possible user experience and extreme overclocking precautions.
Maximum cooling capacity
The MEG X299 CREATION Board provides complete PC temperature control with 8 PWM connections for fan management and a temperature sensor connection. All these connections allow the user to develop a stable and well cooled system.
The M.2 SHIELD FROZR slots and the metal protectors built into the heat sink increase the cooling area, preventing the 3 SSD M.2 from throttling when reaching their maximum speed.
High capacity and fast transfer speed are two key elements for Content Creators. The MEG X299 CREATION card was developed with these criteria in mind and can support up to 7 Turbo M.2 devices simultaneously. Three slots are located directly on the board and are equipped with the M.2 SHIELD FROZR for perfectly controlled cooling. The other four are available via the exclusive M.2 XPANDER-AERO slave board, which also includes an MSI TORX fan to ensure efficient cooling while remaining silent. With the M.2 XPANDER AERO card, users can significantly increase their storage space without fear of overheating.

MSI ThunderboltM3To provide a smooth and stable connection experience, the MEG X299 CREATION motherboard is equipped with 2.5G LAN and Gigabit LAN ports as well as dual-band Wi-Fi to enable high bandwidth and low latency connectivity. Bandwidth management involves prioritizing the applications used to ensure optimum transmission speed under all circumstances.
Finally, the MEG X299 CREATION card comes with a second additional card: the MSI ThunderboltM3. This slave board is equipped with 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports and 2 display ports to optimize data transfer.
