MSI has listed its next desktop gaming PC with the ARC A380 GPU, confirming the existence of this previously unseen model. The listing appeared on the JD platform, which is a large Chinese retailer.
Intel ARC A380 with 6GB of memory is confirmed by MSI
The new gaming computer from the folks at MSI comes with a surprise, the Intel ARC A380 graphics card, which is placed above the performance of the ARC A370. The listing appeared on the platform of Chinese retailer JD.
This is the first announcement that we know about being graphics cards, although we are not surprised that it is in the region of Asia-Pacific since Intel’s plan was to distribute its graphics cards first in this territory thanks to OEM firms.
We don’t have information about the price of this computer, but we do know that it is already in pre-sale. However, we have the specifications, which confirm that the ARC A380 graphics card will have about 6 GB of GDDR6 memory. This GPU would be using the ACM-G11 silicon with 8 Xe cores.
The MSI computer gives alternatives for the chosen processor, always from the Intel platform. The configuration ranges from a Core i3-12100F to the i7-12700KF. The power supply is relatively low: 550W or 650W.
The graphics card is not known if it will be a reference one or if it will be a custom model from MSI. Recall that there will be custom models of Intel ARC graphics cards when they hit stores, so MSI could have added one in this computer, which comes with a closed side (no tempered glass).
Finally, we can see a promotional graphic about the performance, with games running at 1080p with high frame rates, which vary from 85 to 200 fps. We’re not sure, but one seems to be Overwatch running at over 100 fps, we believe at max quality. We’ll keep you posted.
