NVX System Integrators from Singapore have already shelved and started selling an MSI Radeon RX 6400 AERO ITX card, the first non-public RX 6400 from MSI, and non-public models from other manufacturers are expected to be released as well.
Interestingly, MSI has not previously released an AERO ITX card for the RX 6500XT, so this single fan design is feared to be unique to the neutered Navi 24 GPU model. The Radeon RX 6400 graphics card is going to be officially released on April 20, but retailers already have it, and some of them are already selling it, bypassing the NDA for sale.
MSI RX 6400 AERO ITX, a retailer is already selling it for 235 euros
The custom Radeon RX 6400 cards are set to hit the market later this month, but retailers appear to already be receiving their shipments to start selling them in their stores. Some, however, can’t wait until April 20. That’s the case with Singapore-based retailer NVX System Integrators, which is reportedly already selling MSI RX 6400 AERO ITX graphics cards.
The RX 6400 is a graphics card that was released to the OEM market, but now it’s also going to be available for the mass market with various custom graphics cards from third-party manufacturers.
The Radeon RX 6400 has 12 compute units and 768 shader units. This is the most modest GPU in the entire series so far. With the reference specs, this graphics card only consumes about 53W, so it doesn’t require any kind of power connector from the supply. The amount of memory would be 4GB of VRAM, enough for current games, although this model is not intended for playing very demanding games.
MSI RX 6400 AERO ITX has only one fan and has a small size, especially for the assembly of an ITX computer.
The price listed by the retailer for sale is SGD 349, about€235 at the exchange rate. We think this one is overpriced for selling it before launch. The price from April 20 should be below 200 euros.
