There have been rumors that the AMD Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards are divided into two parts, the RDNA 3 architecture and the RDNA 2 architecture, with the RDNA 3 architecture having only three GPUs, the Navi 31/Navi 32/Navi 33. the top of the line Navi 31 has been rumored quite a bit since last year and seems to have very high specs, even making it feel a bit unbelievable.
It begins to hear the first rumors about the AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT. A model focused on the mid-range, which will feature a manufacturing process of 6nm (Navi 33 RDNA 3) and 8 GB of VRAM GDDR6.
A graphics card that according to external media will compete for head to head with the 6900 XT in rasterization power and will have a significant improvement in Ray Tracing.

Among the first features to be revealed, we find a 6 nm design with a size of 520 mm2. This manufacturing node will be manufactured by TSMCand will have a respectable 8 GB GDDR6 with a 128-bit bus with Infinity cache from 128 to 256 MB.
It will also equip 5120 cores per die, PCI Express Gen 5 support, and will have an interesting TBP of 200W. This last piece of information is quite interesting because, on paper, everything suggests that the Nvidia RTX 4000 “Ada Lovelace” will not be very energy efficient.
One of the most interesting data we can find in this graphics card, is that it will have the performance of an AMD Radeon Radeon RX 6900XT. And as expected … we will see a significant improvement in Ray Tracing, which will be affected by the resolution we use (in 4K, it will be weak because of the VRAM).
Why does AMD opt for 8GB this time? The main reason is that the cost of the graphics card will be cheaper, and maybe a solution for this new series does not have as many supply problems as we have seen during 2021 and so far this year.
Price, possible launch, and availability
It is rumored that its price will be around $399 to $499. Still do not know an approximate date of this release, but all indications are that it will be announced during Q3. Possibly in the Computex 2022 online event and we will see the first cards during the last quarter of this year.
