Moto C2 will be the first Motorola smartphone with Android Go

Moto C2 is a new low-priced smartphone, which is about to be released. The device has been noticed on the FCC website and it seems that Motorola also wants to have a phone with Android Go. This is suggested by the partial technical specification of Moto C2, which has been revealed on the US Commission website.

Motorola Moto C2 is a smartphone hiding under the name of XT1920, which was previously seen on the ECC website and is now also on the FCC website. Some information on the technical specifications was disclosed there. These suggest it will be an Android Go device.

The Moto C2 has only 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of built-in flash memory for data. This means that it is a cheap phone from a lower price range. On board, there is also an LTE cat. 10 modem, Bluetooth 4.2 or Wi-Fi b/g/n as well as a battery with a capacity of 2120 mAh. The device is 147.88 x 71.22 mm in size and, given that it will probably have a 16:9 screen aspect ratio, it will probably be a panel with a diagonal of about 5.2″.

Motorola Moto C2 with just 1 GB of RAM will probably get Android Go because Google has created this software just for such low-end phones. The premiere is probably not far away.
