NetherRealm has just released a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, the franchise expanding the story of the original game, adding Sheeva, Fujin, and RoboCop as playable characters. In the video, you can see the gameplay of the three new characters and also their fatalities.
And yes, they are as brutal as you can imagine. Here we leave it up to you.
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath – Official Gameplay Trailer
NetherRealm character artist Brendan George explained the work that required the inclusion of RoboCop in the game, which is played by Peter Waller himself, the original character actor:
“The ability to scan and record Peter Weller for the RoboCop model and talk to him about the role was invaluable. He told me what it was like to play the character, which allowed us to capture the essence of RoboCop.
We have always made sure to give each guest as many authentic and iconic attributes as possible. The color palettes for RoboCop in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is an excellent example of this. As RoboCop fans will remember, RoboCop had a gray suit in the first movie, while it was much bluer in the second movie. Both options can be found in the expansion. And as usual with our guest characters, you will also find a RoboCop version from NetherRealm Studios; this time it is a RoboCop cyber ninja version from Mortal Kombat 3.
The aftermath will be introduced along with a free upgrade that will bring new scenarios, deaths, and the return of friendships. You can pre-order it here.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. The sequel will be available on 26 May.
