Redstone 4, the latest major update of Windows 10, was due to be released last week. However, this has not happened. The premiere was scheduled for April 10th and was postponed due to the last-minute bug finding. So Microsoft has moved the whole thing, and we will still have to wait for the update.
Microsoft is delaying the Windows 10 Spring Update
According to Don Sakar of Microsoft, in some cases, some errors can lead to a significant percentage of BSODs (Blue Screen of Death, or favourite “blue screens”) on various personal puters. Microsoft decided to create a new Windows build instead of releasing a few upgrade packages. The company did not just give reasons why it discovered a bug at literally the last minute.
The new version of Windows is available for Windows Insider Program participants in the Fast Ring mode. Soon he will appear in the Slow Ring and Release Preview. As The Verge reports, this version, or build 17134, has been marked as final as part of the upcoming primary operating system update.
Microsoft has not yet called this update, despite the customary “Spring Creators Update”. It probably will be called “Windows 10 April 2018 Update”. It will show the timeline, support for HDR and a lot of changes in the appearance of the system. Please also note that you can purchase Windows 10 from both Home and Pro when you are planning to change over to Windows 10.
