It has taken us entirely to a surprise, but it is official. Microsoft has announced the new Surface Book 2. That is a renewal of that hinged convertible notebook that introduced exciting developments in a sector that was at a particular stage of stagnation after the take-off of 2-in-1 equipment.

The presentation of the original model, Surface Book had occurred on October 6, 2015. And the new Surface Book 2 comes two years after that, a time that as we know is much in the world of computing. That is because it has allowed the release of new components that have left the word “Obsolete” to the first generation model.

In this sense, we can highlight two new components that have been adopted wholeheartedly by Microsoft in this Surface Book 2. These are the eighth-generation Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce 10 series graphics solutions.

With the new Surface Book, 2 Microsoft has introduced two different models, one with a size of 13.5 inches and the other with a 15-inch format.
The former can mount a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics solution, based on Pascal. Also, that is equipped with 4 GB of GDDR5 graphics memory. Also, the latter gives the option to configure it with a powerful NVIDIA GTX 1060 powered with 6 GB of GDDR5.
Two Varients Power Management
The power difference between both graphics cards is quite significant. So before choosing one or the other model you should keep in mind if you care more about mobility or gross performance. If you seek movement, then you should select the Surface Book 2 of 13.5. And if you target general performance then go for the second model with 15″ display.

Also, Microsoft has confirmed that both devices offer up to 17 hours of battery. Also, they have a PixelSense screen that offers a density of 267 pixels per inch. There will not be a version with 4G LTE, at least for now.
Price and Announce dates
Its launch is scheduled for next November 16 although reserves will open on November 9. The 13.5-inch model will have a base price of $ 1,499 in its base version (no dedicated graphics and Core i5). For its part, the 15-inch model will not have a release without dedicated graphics, so the model with Core i7 and GTX 1060 6 GB will cost $ 2,499.
