Microsoft has provided Windows 10 users with a new tool called Font Editor. It allows you to create fonts, including the use of the stylus. Interestingly, the application had no official announcement yet. It is also not possible to download it for every user. It may be part of the Redstone 5 update.
Microsoft allows you to create your own fonts for Windows 10
Microsoft Font Editor is a new tool, which was quietly made available by the giant from Redmond. They can be found in Windows 10 on selected markets (unfortunately, it is not visible on my computer and the link located in the network displays error 404). Probably the official premiere of this application is still to come.
However, the information that can be found on the web shows that Microsoft Font Editor allows you to create personalized fonts. These together with Windows 10 April 2018 Update have been moved from the classic control panel to the new settings. Fonts have also been introduced at the app store, where premium fonts are to be sold.
It is possible that Microsoft Font Editor will be officially announced soon and can be downloaded by any user. It cannot be ruled out that the tool’s debut will coincide with the Redstone 5 update, but it will be released only in the autumn. Meanwhile, if you are planning to change to Windows 10, remember that the new windows in the shops are available in Home and Pro options.
