Microsoft adds patent for enhanced security by using fingerprint sensor on surface headphones

According to Internet sources, Microsoft patent headphones with an integrated fingerprint sensor for biometric fingerprint identification of users.

The presence of a fingerprint scanner will provide additional security in a number of scenarios. For example, the owner can pass on headset authorization on a personal computer.
In addition, based on a fingerprint sensor, the function of loading personal settings, e.g. equalizer settings, preferred volume level, etc. can be implemented.

You can also use the fingerprint scanner to organize access to phone functions for a specific group of people. Other options can be offered.

Currently Microsoft is only registering patents for the proposed development. No reports are made if this system can be implemented on commercial devices on the market.
