For anyone who has ever had to deal with business video conferencing, he knows very well how often you find yourself having problems with transmission or connection: not all participants are in the frame, or the audio is not the best. Logitech wants to try to patch up this problem with Rally, a modular system designed for video conferencing.
As said, Rally is modular, so it is composed of several parts: obviously at the center of everything there is the camera that allows streaming in Ultra-HD 4K (of course then depends on the Internet line the ability to transmit it), but the microphones and speakers are separate, so you can adapt to any meeting room.
Obviously, on the software side, we have all the necessary precautions: the microphones eliminate echo and noise out of range and the speakers “ensure a much richer sound. Along with this, Logitech RightSense technology is integrated, consisting of three parts:
RightSight, which automatically frames the meeting participants in the room without the need to manually adjust the camera angle.
RightLight automatically optimizes light and colour to enhance your faces.
RightSound, for better audio performance and to emphasize the voice of the person speaking.
Pricing and Availability
A system like this is certainly not cheap. You can contact Logitech Authorized Dealers for a Rally System Quote, but only from the fall of 2018. We know however that only the Rally Camera module will be available from this summer at a price of 1,429€.
