Lisa Su ranked No. 1 in business leads. Yesterday, the “Associated Press” group published its ranking of the highest-paid CEOs within the S&P 500 (Standard and Poor 500) market index, and as you saw in the title, the list is headed by Lisa Su, the CEO of AMD, who was the first woman to head the ranking.
There is no doubt about Su’s flawless management, which has exceeded its 2019 earnings. In fact, most of the profit was due to stock growth and awards for achieving targets, which clearly demonstrates her incredible mandate. Just to give you an idea: Lisa Su has a base salary of “only” $1 million, and she took $58 million home with her in 2019, thanks to these awards and stock price increases. For comparison, the second woman in the rankings is Marillyn A. Hewson, CEO of Lockheed Martin, who earned $24.4 million, a significant difference from Su, and ranks 22nd.
As for the rankings, this chart evaluates the performance of CEOs who have been in office for more than two years, in order to measure not the total income generated by signing a contract, but only the performance in office. Su’s performance was undoubtedly impressive, when she took over she raised the stock from US$ 3.40 to values above US$ 50 and put AMD back on top with Intel in the processor market.
