LG Tone Platinum SE, the new wireless headphones are equipped with a Google Assistant button and a hands-free kit

LG wants to continue to enter the world of artificial intelligence, we have already seen how the South Korean company has integrated this technology into its latest smartphone LG G7 ThinQ. However, it won’t be the first or last product to use this Google technology, as the company mentions on its own website that one of its new Tone Series headphones includes a button to access the Google Assistant.

This is the LG Tone Platinum SE (HBS-1120), the first model in the Tone series to offer Google Assistant and real-time translation at the touch of a button, as it will be equipped with Google Translate.

The wizard is accessed automatically when the button is pressed, so it is not necessary to disconnect the phone or say “OK Google” to activate it.

The company also presents a second model, the LG Tone Ultra SE (HBS-835S), which is not only a headset but also includes an external mono speaker that allows the user to make calls and listen to music while listening to the sounds of the environment.

Both devices feature a dual MEMS microphone that provides excellent ringer clarity and support for the Tone & Talks smartphone application, as well as balanced armor and dynamic drivers for maximum audio quality.

According to Kim Tae-gyun, head of LG’s Complementary Devices business unit, the company is innovating with its products by providing high-quality equipment:

For the time being, we know that these headphones will be available in black, blue and gold, but details such as price, when they will be on sale or additional specifications will only be known at the event in Hall 18 of Messe Berlin from 31 August to 5 September.
