With AI is meant to speak commands in the remote control and to use the functions of a language assistant. Evening conversations with the TV. Also, there are unfortunately not in spite of AI. For this, you can use the TV via Smart Home Hub to instruct their robotic vacuum cleaner or to control the lighting.

Full-array Local Dimming (FALD)

The new LG high-end products in the TV segment will in future work with the latest processor α (Alpha) 9. Benefit from Nano Cell SUPER UHD TVs that use a full-array Local Dimming (FALD) backlight to a deep black and vibrant colors display.

The processor also improves color rendering, thanks to its advanced mapping capabilities. That bring the colors closer to their original content than ever before. The optimized color correction algorithm enables more natural colors by extending the reference color sevenfold.

The α (Alpha) 9 supports a high frame rate (HFR) at 120 frames per second. The result is smoother and more transparent images in image content with fast movements, such as sports and action films.

Also, thanks to the new image processor, LG OLED televisions will be able to reproduce any material of maximum quality in 2018, ensuring a truly spectacular viewing experience.

The OLED and SUPER UHD 2018 TVs from LG are equipped with 4K Cinema HDR. Also, that brings a genuinely cinematic experience regardless of format. LG’s OLED and SUPER UHD 2018 TVs support Technicolor’s Advanced HDR and build on a proven system. That helps most major HDR forms, from superior viewing quality from Dolby Vision to HDR10 and HLG (hybrid logging Gamm).

Also, LG’s OLED and SUPER UHD 2018 televisions dynamically process HDR images frame by frame using LG’s Enhanced Dynamic Tone Mapping (Enhanced Dynamic Tone Mapping) algorithm. Both the 2018 OLED TVs and the SUPER UHD TVs feature object-based Dolby Atmos surround sound for an optimal audiovisual experience.

Visitors to CES can experience LG’s TV of the future at booth # 11100 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
