LG has just released its new monitor 34UC89G. The company’s new monitor comes with a curved 34 “IPS panel. With a 21: 9 ratio, 2560 x 1080 resolution, and 144Hz refresh rate. That can reach to 166Hz with overclocking via DisplayPort. The monitor also offers 99% of the sRGB color gamut and 5ms gray to gray response.

Among the most outstanding features, it has the wide range of colors and the unique display modes: black stabilizer and dynamic action sync. In addition to this, the monitor is overclocked to achieve a refresh rate of 166 Hz.
It has a brightness of 300 nits, a contrast 1000: 1 and a response time of 5 ms. It covers 99% of the sRGB color gamut and has a color depth of 8 bits. In the field of ergonomics, you can adjust its height and inclination. And for the connectors, it has a hub of three USB 3.0, plus an HDMI and a DisplayPort.
As for connectivity, the monitor will have 1x HDMI 1.4, 1x DisplayPort 1.2 and 2 USB (Up-stream / Down-Stream). The LG 34UC89 is available from today at a price of approximately 999 $, a price very similar to what is expected in Europe.

In addition, the new 34UC89G features support for Nvidia G-Sync, which will automatically adapt to the 144Hz of the panel or overclock to 166Hz, to help eliminate tearing, minimize stuttering and reduce input lag. It also features the manufacturer’s “Black Stabilizer, Dynamic Action Sync and Crosshair” technologies that will help brighten dark areas, minimize input delay and add a crosshair in the center of the panel.
