Lenovo’s ultra-flat professional notebook
This is the thinnest and lightest Thinkpad in the range, but it doesn’t forget that it is a professional laptop. The new model presented today combines the best hardware for professionals and advanced users with a state-of-the-art housing.
The Thinkpad P1 can accommodate the latest eighth generation Intel processors, from the Core i5 to the new Core i9.
As this is a professional laptop, not surprisingly, if the available graphics come from the Nvidia Quadro family. While not ideal for games, they are ideal for professional environments such as CAD.
In addition, there is up to 64GB of DDR4-2667 memory; it is noticeable that, unlike most ultra-thin laptops we will have no difficulty opening the P1 and installing additional memory modules.

With its thickness of 18.4 mm and weight of 1.7 kg, it is the lightest and thinnest laptop of its kind due to its carbon fiber chassis. And it works without compromising on cold, heat, moisture, dust and even fungal infestation.
Of course, the Thinkpad P1 is not the first ultra-thin notebook we’ve seen, except that Lenovo seems to have sacrificed nothing for its most demanding audience.
