Lenovo unveils ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad X1 Yoga shortly before CES 2020

Lenovo has rushed a bit before this year’s CES and decided to present the first information about their laptops. The ThinkPad series will be refreshed. The new models will be exhibited at the CES 2020.

Lenovo has been turning its laptops up a bit already in August last year, including Intel’s 10th generation processors, and now, just before the CES, the company showed the ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad X1 Yoga. What is the difference? Well, you will be able to choose Comet Lake vPro instead of a “normal” 10th generation Comet Lake processor.

Also, the computers will get new displays, like the 500 nits panel PrivacyGuard FHD or the slightly lower brightness of 400 nits. Also one small change – the logo on the laptop cover. Now it’s the ThinkPad X1 logo, not two separate logos – one ThinkPad, one X1. The X1 Carbon Gen 8 and X1 Yoga Gen 5 computers will be available later this year. We will pay 1499 or 1599 dollars for each of them.

This is not the only Lenovo jump start. The company also showed a keyboard from cult notebooks – the ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II. Samsung also boasted a QLED gaming monitor – a large 49-inch Odyssey G9. The CES 2020 trade fair will start soon, so it’s worthwhile to watch out for more news in this regard.
