The Lenovo Yoga 520 will be available in two different sizes. The smaller version features a 14-inch screen, while the larger one, albeit slightly larger, offers a 15.6-inch screen. Both models come with a Full HD resolution display with native support for touch input. Under the hood, you’ll find Intel 7000 series processors, including the new i7 Kaby Lake chips.
These devices support the latest DDR4 RAM with a maximum capacity of 16GB. As for storage, you have various options, including SSDs up to 512GB, HDDs up to 1TB, and hybrid solutions (SSD + HDD). The 15.6-inch model also offers the option to equip a dedicated Radeon series graphics card. The laptops run on Windows 10 as the operating system.
Connectivity options include two USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port, HDMI, RJ-45, an audio jack, and a memory card reader. The operating system is Windows 10 Home. The Lenovo Yoga 520 has compact dimensions of 328 x 229 x 19.9 mm and weighs just 1.75 kilograms.
Additional features of the Lenovo Yoga 520 include WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, a fingerprint reader, and a webcam supporting 720p video calling. Lenovo has designed an audio system compatible with Dolby Home Theater for an enhanced audio experience.
The Yoga 520 is equipped with a long-lasting battery, offering up to 10 hours of usage on a single charge. You can expect the official launch of this laptop during the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona at the end of February.
