Apple A12 Bionic is one of the first processors for smartphones that was manufactured in the 7 nm lithography. SoC with the new iPhones offers a really powerful performance. This is confirmed by the test in AnTuT, where a record result was achieved. Snapdragon 845 smartphones with this performance can only dream.
Apple placed the A12 Bionic processor in the new iPhone, which was praised at the conference on Wednesday. As the result of AnTuT shows, the new system is indeed very efficient. The iPhone XS appeared in the popular benchmark database, which led to a record result there.
With the Apple A12 Bionic, the new iPhone scored over 360,000 points. This is really a great result that Android phones will not achieve quickly. In comparison, the strongest smartphones with Google are now able to approach the 300,000 points on the benchmark and is currently unable to cross it. Apple has therefore raised the bar for the competition.
The Huawei Mate 20 smartphones that get the HiSilicon Kirin 980 chip will be released with more power than Snapdragon 845, but the main chip is unlikely to outperform the SoC A12 Bionic performance. However, this will become clear after the premiere of the new phones.
