In the specs, we can see a quad-core processor and eight cores. That Anandtech reveals would be based on the Kaby Lake-G architecture. That is a new vocabulary for these revised and refined Kaby Lake including AMD GPU in the same package. This CPU would work at 3.1 GHz and would have 8MB of L3 cache with a TDP of 100W.

Despite including an AMD Radeon RX Vega M GPU, the Kaby Lake CPU continues to integrate its original Intel HD Graphics 630 iGPU. So it could be understood that it has been designed with the goal of a very low consumption while the new AMD GPU remains disconnected

This new GPU comes to fight directly against the original APD AMD Ryzen both desktop and portable market. So, leaving AMD with a very advantageous position since most GPU humble gaming. That we will see in the mobile market in the future will bear their stamp and architecture.

The most exciting thing about this new processor is that it would arrive with the multiplier unlocked and ready for overclocking. So manufacturers will have the option to launch teams prepared for this function if they wish for their equipment.
