EVO is probably a name to remember as it will be part of Intel’s future catalog. The software giant has registered it with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office). Parallel to this new trademark, new logos are also being registered.

EVO and the new “Intel Inside” logo

They reveal a fundamental revision of the group’s visual identity. We have a new font, simple geometric backgrounds, and fewer gradients. The i3/i5/i7/i9 families are listed in the lower right corner of their page. In more general terms, the approach seems to correspond to the look of Intel’s mainstream processors, especially for the “Intel Inside” logo.

We are also in the process of discovering the brands EVO Powered by Core. At the moment EVO remains a mystery. Speculation is based on a new category of processors. We’re talking about the rumors of Alder Lake S CPUs with a hybrid architecture where small and large cores are mixed. Compared to the traditional large cores that AMD and Intel have used in their laptops to date, Alder Lake could change battery life by using smaller cores to save power and significantly extend battery life. The desktop side of Alder Lake is called Alder Lake S and will have a TDP of up to 125W and up to 8 large cores + 8 small cores. Depending on whether you can use all cores simultaneously.
