Intel Coffee Lake S Specifications with 8 CPU cores

Intel seems to be ready for an all-out war with AMD. Beginning to have signs of the first Coffee Lake S processors with eight physical cores. That is the act in an attempt to match what AMD offers with its Ryzen 7 processors.

A Coffee Lake S processor with eight cores is detected for the first time in the 3DMark application. And that would be an engineering sample for how it is recognized (Intel Corporation CoffeeLake S82 UDIMM RVP).

That supposedly marks the first appearance of Intel’s new Coffee Lake S processors. That should have a more substantial number of cores, guiding them to steal part of the AMD initiative. If you remember, the red team recovered it explosively with their first generation Ryzen CPUs, and AMD wants to continue the battle with the Ryzen 2000 next month.

AMD has had the initiative and the leadership to offer a processor with a more significant number of cores (not performance), and it seems that Intel has seen the time to leap the number of cores/threads that offer their chips.

The screenshot in question shows a good Intel 8-core CPU running at a frequency of 2.2 GHz (which we understand will not be the final frequency). There are some apparent errors in reading the identity of the CPU, such as the nm or the TDP. We will be attentive to the news that Intel has in this aspect. As well as everything related to the Z390 platform.
