512 GB microSD card: is it a reality?

According to a BusinessWire report, the name of this card is 512 microSDXC V10 UHS-1 U1, and its 512 GB of storage allows it to surpass what until then was leading the market: the SanDisk Ultra microSD UHS-1 of 400 GB. The new Integral microSD can transfer data at a minimum speed of 10 MB / s, and at a maximum rate of 80 MB/s. Although it is not the fastest, it has more than acceptable specifications.

The Integral microSD manages to comply with the Video Speed Class 10 (V10) standard. So, that is why it is capable of capturing content in 4K without problems from any camera with this technology. According to the announcement of Integral, this new microSD will go on sale in February 2018. However, the date and the launch price are unknown.

What the company did say is that not only will it release 512 GB models. But there will also be 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 and 256 GB storage versions available. For all cases, five years warranty has been enabled. We will be attentive to more information that may arise from the exact launch date and above all, its final cost.
