As they say in TC, they found a music tag feature in the Instagram app code for Android. While it is not known how this new dynamic will work, the idea is that music stickers will help users find songs and that they can be integrated into the publications they share in the Stories.

These music stickers can be filtered according to different criteria, for example, mood, trends, gender, among others. And while there’s nothing definite at the moment, rumours are that Instagram would connect with SoundCloud and Spotify to boost the dynamics of the music stickers.

Let’s remember that a few days ago, they announced the integration of Spotify with Instagram, which allows you to publish the song you’re listening to directly in the Stories or share it through direct messages. And on the other hand, let’s not forget that Facebook has agreements with different record labels, such as Warner Music, Universal and Sony.

So there’s no shortage of media and options in Instagram to provide a powerful feature for users to animate their Stories with the music they want, from within the application itself. Instagram has not commented on this discovery of music stickers, so we will have to wait to know more details about their operation.
