A few weeks ago, Instagram began to make it possible to use other users’ content as stickers to include in the stories themselves. To do this, the contents must be part of the public account stories that appear in the feed itself.
Today Instagram goes a step further by allowing users to use the contents of other users’ stories in which they have been mentioned.
Instagram points out that when a user is mentioned in a story, that user will be notified by Direct, where they will now find the option to add that content to their own story.
This content can be inserted into the story itself as a sticker, i.e., it can be scaled, moved and rotated, and the name of the original user of the content will still appear. Of course, all this will be possible with the contents of users with public accounts.
This is the novelty introduced by Instagram as part of its new update, reaching version 48 in both Android and iOS, which should now be available through those above official mobile application markets.
