Qualcomm’s next high-end processor, the Snapdragon 855 processor could be introduced before the end of 2018. Qualcomm is already engaged with many manufacturers on the use of the processor, including HTC. HTC is already working on its new high-end device that will use this processor.
Despite the company’s negative results, which are falling more and more, we can still expect new phones from the company in the market. At the same time, they continue to work on a new high-end generation.
HTC relies on Snapdragon 855 for 5G
Even though the processor is not the most important part of your phone, however, it is still an important part of it. We have also revealed that this HTC phone will be the first of the brand to use the 5G. At the moment there is a race between the brands to integrate 5G into their phones. Meanwhile, it is being complemented by the Taiwanese company.
The company seems to be thinking about focusing its efforts on the high-end where it seems to achieve better results. Apart from the fact that they are making a bigger profit with their mobile phones. So the situation in this market segment seems to be better.
