This laptop is going on sale from June with a cost of € 899 and € 1099 respectively.
HP ENVY 13 Specifications
At the Cannes Film Festival, where HP premiered the new Specter 12 X2 (2017). HP has decided to update its premium notebook Envy. However the launch is dedicated to only two models. So renewed both technically and aesthetically with thinner lines and lighter weights: HP Envy 13 (2017) and HP Envy 17 (2017). Both laptops will be available from June at 1050 $ starting price in the US. But at the same time they should arrive on the European market with a price of respectively 899 euro (for 13-inch) and 1099 € (for 17-inch) .
For the HP Envy 13 (2017), the American company proposes a metal body by premium finishes “golden” but slightly more compact. In the thickness of 13.95 mm and weight of 1.22Kg. So the new Envy 13 has a processor of Intel Kaby Lake (Core i5 or Core i7 depending on the model). With up to 16GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage with a display 13.3 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) or 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels). The notebook supports up to 14 hours of battery life. But incorporates two USB 3.1 Type-C that are useful for two external monitors 4K and two USB 3.1 Type-A.
HP ENVY 17
HP Envy 17 (2017) on the other hand comes with a screen of 17.3 inches at Full HD or 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) , but with touch support. On board, there is a place for processors Intel Kaby Lake (up to Core i7-7500U) with 16 GB of RAM, hard disk 1 TB (7,200 rpm). And a dedicated graphics card low-end such as Nvidia GeForce 940MX. This notebook weighs about 3 kg, but despite the ultra-slim profile, it manages to integrate an optical drive (DVD burner). There is a RJ45 (Ethernet Gigabit) connector, a USB 3.1 Type-C , three USB 3.1 Type-A, HDMI output and an IR webcam compatible with Windows Hello.
Both notebooks are equipped with stereo speakers Bang & Olufsen and wireless connectivity (WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2), full size backlit keyboard and of course Windows 10.
