HP says productivity increases with more screen space and makes it easier to collaborate when using the second screen. The EliteDisplay S14 14″ portable monitor features a wrap-around easel cover to hold it in place when in use, so no other accessories are needed. When not in use, the cover protects the monitor, similar to a tablet cover.
This monitor is based on a single USB-C port that will carry both video and power to minimize additional accessories and clutter in the workspace. Power is supplied from the notebook or tablet to which it is connected, so the battery life of the notebook will be shorter when in use. The panel is rated for use around 5W with a maximum of 15W according to HP.
