As already mentioned yesterday, IO Interactive and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have today revealed to the world their new video game work: ladies and gentlemen, here’s Hitman 2!
The new chapter dedicated to Agent 47 was launched with an adrenaline-pumping trailer, which shows some of the environments in which the game will take place. The ruthless murderer will travel through Miami, the rainforest and many other international locations to follow in the footsteps of the Shadow Customer, in an adventure that will lead him to discover new details about his past.
Once again the gameplay will focus on exploring the sandbox environments and planning the moves to be made, so you can complete the plan with the utmost discretion in perfect stealth style. It will obviously be essential to have a certain coolness and to know how to pull the trigger at the right time, but you will also need to be smart enough not to be discovered.
In addition, this new game will also feature the new Sniper Assassin mode, a feature separate from the main campaign and dedicated to co-operative gaming, which will allow two players to work together to eliminate their targets. A first for the series, which had never integrated multiplayer mode so far.
Hitman 2 will be available as a full game – so no more episodes like the previous title – from November 13, 2018, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X and PC via Steam.
The game can be purchased in various special editions: those who buy the Gold Edition or Collector’s Edition can access the entire game in advance four days before the official launch.
