GTA 6: Ex Rockstar worker predicts the release date of next Grand Theft Auto

A former employee has pointed out the Christmas date 2021, so it’s not unreasonable that the game will arrive around that time, but any incident can always happen and delay the release, as has been happening with several of the AAA games that will hit stores this year.

Despite the fact that the findings have not been fully confirmed, one thing we do know is that “Grand Theft Auto VI”, the next edition of this iconic franchise, is at an early stage of development and many theories support such rumors.

In this regard, we can add a recent tip from a former Rockstar employee who may have given out the release date for this next edition, one of the most anticipated titles for the next generation of consoles.

In fact, if anything was clear from the little information we have about PlayStation 5 and the Xbox X series, it was that research within the open-world genre will begin to grow. One of the most anticipated iterations is, therefore, the next episode of Grand Theft Auto, whose sixth episode will be released in the middle of next year.

At least that’s what Darion Lowenstein (DailyStar), one of the developers with several years of experience in the industry, many of whom worked at Rockstar, where the development of ‘GTA VI’ is currently taking place, expects by mid-2021.

But that’s not all we could learn from the title, Darion says that the creators of ‘Grand Theft Auto’ put everything into the quality of the title, and although next year’s summer is not an exact date, we must mention that this could be subject to change in the future.

Another comment from Lowenstein says that we won’t have a preview or short film in the near future, so we’ll have to wait a few more months before we get an official announcement from Rockstar, which is already working on the arrival of Grand Theft Auto VI.

This is clearly one of the releases that would best benefit the next generation of consoles, as both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be based on ray-tracing technology and open-world development, two points that look quite good with the arrival of Grand Theft Auto VI.
